Momentum Endurance Coaching had athletes racing in 3 events over the weekend. Trails, duathlons and a half marathon were in order and the boys did well.
Wonderland Trail run
It was great to have David Cunningham back in the fold racing after a string of bad luck earlier in the year. He used the 20k trail run in the Grampians of Victoria as a good hit out in his build towards his first Ironman later this year in Busselton. Welcome back Dave!
WSTC Duathlon
Les Toth lined up yet again at the Western Suburbs Tri Club local duathlon event in Altona. Always a great event put on by the WSTC event and Les put together another solid race. Having raced the series of races on off we now build towards the target that has been set in November.
Vic Road Runners Half Marathon
When you are in the middle of a riding block of training and you can churn out a lazy 81min half marathon on minimal run training, things aren't to bad. Adrian Polidano did a great job getting around the course in good shape and showing the running legs are still there taking 2nd overall in the Half Marathon. His running experience is showing through in his commitment to improving his swim/bike which will be on the up from here.
Great work boys.
A rare weekend off racing this week then see's us with 4x athletes competing in World Championship events the following week at the Sunshine Coast 70.3 Worlds and Perth for the Gran Fondo Worlds.
