With summer in full swing it was the open water events that had athletes racing over the weekend.

Margaret River Ocean swim

Western Australia local Sam Janssen lined up for her home town swim with the Margaret River Ocean swim. Sam made short work of the 1k event putting her swim base on show getting around the course in 17mins and 21st overall.

Time in the water and improvements from Sam will have her in good stead for her goal races later in the Season.

Portsea Swim Classic

Georgia Stott took to the start line of what has become a favorite annual event for her. Georgia used  'a bit of local knowledge' to navigate the 1.5k course in 14min flat and first female overall.

Well done girls!

I could see the thought put into my training plan

"My motivation increased when I could see the thought put into my training plan and the difference it made in my result. The sessions were built for what I needed and I felt strong all day racing. Most of all I could feel Michael cared, so a very big thank you."
