The weekend gone saw 2 of the MEC athletes take on the Off Road World Championships & Mt Martha Long Course.

Off Road World Championships

Angelo Bonacci hit the target he was aiming for earlier in the year securing a place on the Australian team to compete at the Off Road World Championships at Lake Crackenback in NSW. With a long course focus over the past 6months and results to go with it Angelo showed his diversity in skill set getting home to finish 17th in his age group and everything in tact on a technical course.

Mt Martha Sufferfest

With duathlons and running events over the winter to keep Adrian Polidano in good knick, the first triathlon hit out in a few months turned in a good reward for his consistent training. Adrian pieced together strong and controlled race to get home in 3rd place in his age group on the back of his trade mark strong run finish. Still plenty of work ahead for Buddha but he is up for putting in the effort to get there.

Finally we had Adrian's nephew 'Dazzler' take the start line in his 2nd ever triathlon at the Mt Martha 'Kidsfest'. Great to see you out there enjoying yourself Dazzler and well done on your race.

Well done gents.

I could see the thought put into my training plan

"My motivation increased when I could see the thought put into my training plan and the difference it made in my result. The sessions were built for what I needed and I felt strong all day racing. Most of all I could feel Michael cared, so a very big thank you."
