Junior Program Options

Momentum Endurance Coaching is committed to developing independent, disciplined athletes who take responsibility for their own sporting journey regardless of ability.

Foundation

Foundation program athletes will receive coaching and support to guide them through the start of their triathlon journey.
Sessions will target fitness and skill development within each discipline to build confidence specific to both triathlon and general health and sporting goals to provide athletes with a platform from which to begin their triathlon careers.
  • 2 squad sessions per week
  • Race day planning and preparation
  • Ongoing coaching support throughout the term

Development

The Development program is designed to extend athletes looking to race more competitively with a focus on fitness and dedication to training and developing confidence and skills specific to racing events.
Athletes will be further encouraged and challenged to create and be responsible for their own health and sporting goals.

  • 2 weekend sessions per term
  • Race day planning and preparation
  • Ongoing coaching support throughout the term

Performance

The Performance program is for athletes looking to take their triathlon journey to the next level.
This program is ideal for athletes with a focus on championship events such as Victorian Schools Triathlon Championships, qualification for School Sports Victoria team and the Triathlon Victoria Development Pathway squad.
  • 3 squad sessions per week
  • 2 weekend sessions per term
  • Weekly individual 'home' based program
  • Additional groups sessions where required for events
  • Race day planning and preparation
  • Ongoing coaching support throughout the term
  • Triathlon Victoria Development Pathway (TVDP) and other relevant squads / specialised triathlon team coaching support
