The weekly racing is set only to increase as we head closer to the beginning of the tri season in the Southern Hemisphere
Last weekend we had Adrian Polidano and Les Toth racing the Western Suburbs Tri Club duathlon. Both are targeting races in the 16/17 Tri season and they are showing that progress is being made with their results improving each race. The WSTC puts on great local events and we thank them and their volunteers for running them.
Angelo Bonacci is back in the swing of things post IM Cairns and opened the account at the Hoka One One trail run at Silvan. Heading into the hills and trails mixes it up as he prepares to build up for another strong season which will include the World Cross Triathlon Championships in November.
This weekend we have 8 from MEC heading out East to Hazelwood for the triathlon and multiple sport event on Saturday which is organised by the Latrobe Valley Tri Club. With our athletes competing in sprint, Olympic and of course the Hazelwood 100, we look forward to seeing some more improvements from our athletes as they build momentum towards the warmer months ahead.
