It was no surprise to see John Winterburn on the start line of another open water swim for the season. John lined up on Saturday for the Mentone Marathon 10k swim, his first crack at 10k in a single swim. Long Course Long Weekend

It was the Labor Day long weekend in Victoria and it was fitting that the MEC crew racing were indeed racing long.  The Ironmum made her way to the high country for what would be the test of how she is travelling and a personal challenge in competing in the Australian Alpine Ascent triathlon. It was a short and sharp weekend of racing just gone with sprint and standard distance along with the Victorian Schools triathlon.
