Open Water Weekend

With summer in full swing it was the open water events that had athletes racing over the weekend. Margaret River Ocean swim Western Australia local Sam Janssen lined up for her home town swim with the Margaret River Ocean swim. Sam made short work of the 1k event putting her swim base on show getting around the course in 17mins and 21st overall. Both the long and the short racing formats were covered last weekend with athletes taking on Race 3 of the Active Tri series as well as the 2 Bays Trail run. Active Tri Race 3 While each leg of the Enduro format (swim/bike/run/swim/bike/run) may be shorter it proves itself to be a challenging way to race.
